HAbLAbMusic
HAb appears to be an interdimensional entity that communicates cosmic wisdom, vibe energies, and higher consciousness through sound frequencies, rhythms, and harmonies.
In the early 1990s, the HAb energy manifested itself to a Gothenburg native living in Stockholm, Sweden, inspiring him to channel it into electronic-based music. This initial creative wave, mostly crafted in Brooklyn, NYC during the mid-90s, ultimately led to the creation of the 10-track debut album hab:maPod, released by Swedish label DOT in 1997.
The concept of HAbLAbMusic aims to grow as a curated collection of HAb music in various forms, featuring collaborations, remixes, and sonic experiments. Alongside our digital catalog, strictly limited editions of transparent vinyl, cassette tapes, and official merchandise will be available for purchase via our Bandcamp page.
As the laboratory expands, the project also evolves into the live arena under the moniker HAbRID — an improvisational, techno-driven hybrid live-set appearing at select spaces near you.

The sleeve is also made in Gothenburg – at Hemp Records – and is crafted from organic hemp-paper with hand-sewn edges.
About This Release
We are proud to announce our first release on HAbLAbMusic: the epic sci-fi noir piece Dechaxorg Part One (HAbLAb 001).
We are making Dechaxorg available in a physical format – a custom lathe-cut transparent 10″ vinyl disc, crafted by our partners at Simmer Down GBG. This first edition is strictly limited to 20 copies.
The sleeve is tailored by Hemp Records, another partner we are proud to work with on this release. This sleeve is not only eco-friendly, being made from non-toxic bleached hemp pulp, but is also hand-sewn – not glued – using organic cotton thread, giving it a unique, one-of-a-kind look and feel.
Hemp Records’ hemp sleeves align perfectly with our aim to use globally sustainable products as much as possible in our release process.

On the B-side of this exclusive 10″ vinyl, French underground DNB talent Gunston/Noxnug delivers a masterclass remix of ‘Dechaxorg’. Infusing the track with razor-sharp, precision-engineered drum programming and deep sonic textures, he beautifully mirrors and intensifies the grand, dramatic atmosphere of the original.
HAbLAbMusic is a label set up to record and promote the music of Hans Carlsson, aka HAb. We also feature artist remixes and other original works that fall into sync with the intentions of the label.
Experiments have been proceeding for years in the laboratories of the HAbLAbMusic building, in its secluded setting in the heart of Scandinavia.
